In recent years, with the acceleration of aging population and change of lifestyles, the most commonly seen clinical wounds have changed from acute trauma to chronic wounds, notably on diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and venous ulcers of lower extremities. Located in Huamao 1958 business district, the Chronic Wound Care Center will provide reliable, affordable treatment, medical referral and patient education by means of applying a variety of effective therapeutics, including hyperbaric oxygen chamber and an innovative service model based on “out-patient diagnosis and treatment - hospitalization - continuous community care service”. The technical support will be provided by B. Braun with advanced and distinguished chronic wound treatment portfolio.

“Based on the newly opened Chronic Wound Care Center, B. Braun will in the future continuously share expertise with local medical providers, introduce advanced medical technology and systematic training classes, in order to benefit more patients with chronic wounds and the general public in Anqing and broader areas in China,” said Stanley Su, CEO and Managing Director of B. Braun China.
