B. Braun for Children: B. Braun China organizes charity run

On October 20, around 1,000 employees and their family members took their position at the starting line in Suzhou, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan, Shenyang, Xi'an, Zibo, and other cities to help children suffering from cerebral palsy.

24 cities in China served as venues for half marathons to benefit a B. Braun for Children project. B. Braun China followed in B. Braun Malaysia’s footsteps in Kuala Lumpur, where Anna Maria Braun, President Asia Pacific and member of the Management Board, initiated a B. Braun for Children run.

Stanley Su, President of B. Braun Greater China, emphasized the importance of the running event in his opening speech. On the one hand, the run promotes the health and fitness of B. Braun employees; on the other hand, it is a motivating example for all employees to get involved athletically for B. Braun for Children projects.

The starting shot was fired at 9 AM: Together with Stanley Su, four other members of the Management Board and more than 300 employees from the locations in Shanghai and Suzhou took off to run around Lake Taihu in the middle of an autumn landscape. Just like their colleagues at the venues of the other runs, they were accompanied and cheered on by their families and friends.
